On November 22, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Foreign Minister of Japan Toshimitsu Motegi on the sidelines of the G20 Aichi-Nagoya Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.

The ministers exchanged views on the state of bilateral relations and the prospects for developing them, including a schedule of political dialogue and a number of current issues related to practical cooperation in trade, the economy and other fields.

It was agreed that the Japanese Foreign Minister would visit Moscow in mid-December of this year at the invitation of Sergey Lavrov to continue the dialogue.
